December 2019 Surfcoast Longboard Club Presso night and AGM

It was a fun night for all who attended Surfcoast Longboard Club 2019 Presso and 2019 AGM. Special congratulations to our club champions for 2019 (see list below). This year's batch of winners and place getters received a framed photo as a trophy or cool poolroom decoration,  thanks to Lannie who made the frames and chose images with more thanks to Adam Snow, Paul Sgouromallis and Ted Clark who took the photos. 

Big thanks also to Ian Chisholm and Angela King from Southcoast Surfboards for hosting and to the Monkey's Uncle crew for catering.

Special thankyou also go to surfing champion Gail Cooper and renowned surfboard builder George Rice, our club patrons,  who handed out the awards on the night. 


Extra special congrats go to Andy Towel who is this year's The George Rice Spirit of Surfing award winner




Special congratulations and thanks go to Bob Smith for not only winning the over 70s top trophy but also winning the custom Gash Surfboard with a last minute purchase of the winning ticket from Noel,  and because he scrounged, found and donated prizes for those who were eliminated from the reverse raffle custom board raffle with gifts from his and Rip Curl's trove of surfing treasures as well as supplying a gold plated 50th anniversary poster for auction, that Pondy put the winning bid in for.
